The event marked the conclusion of a two-part series on the U.S. Midterm Elections in November 2022, which was organized and conducted in close cooperation with the Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung für die Freiheit.

The second event in this series took place as an in-person gathering at the Guest House of the University of Hamburg on November 15, 2022, exactly one week after the first event. The election results were vividly discussed and analyzed by entrepreneur and podcaster Wendy Brown and political scientists Dr. Bendix Hügelmann and Dr. Patrick Horst. The discussion was moderated by David Patrician. The panel provided insights into how the election might impact the Biden administration.

Given the political relevance for transatlantic relations between the U.S. and Germany, as well as other pressing political issues, the audience’s response was overwhelmingly positive.
